Problem with Simple Object Animation Import from Blender

I’m new to Unity, and blender, I’ve got a bit stuck trying to import an animation.

When I import the blend file, no animation clips are created for the asset.

I’m able to import some other animations from blend files that I found on the web, but these are all character rigs. I’m trying to import a simple object animation - containing only position, scale and rotation.

I assume that I need to do something specfic in blender to get the animation to import, but I’m not sure what.

Could somebody please point me in the right direction?

Solved it. Found this post which explains the solution:

Summary: if you don’t have an armature you need to manually export the FBX from blender, and choose the “export selected objects” option.

@Unity - a suggestion, please add a note about this to the “Importing Objects from Blender” documentation page.

Anyways, the software looks great, I look forward to getting started…
