Problem with texture

Hey fellow unity users,

Im new to unity and have a persistent issue here. I have attached an image as well.
Im using 3ds max 2011.

When I export from max to unity, most of the elements work fine and textures are applied properly.
Few of the elements, show up as shown on the image.
Im not able to figure out the problem myself.

Did you export it as an FBX file?

Yes. I forgot to mention that.

Did you export it to an older format, FBX 2006 maybe?

FBX 2011 version.
All the other elements are fine just some specific elements appear like this.
I guess it is more max related. But I have tried everything that I can think of.

Try exporting it to an older version, I experienced this myself. That might fix it, probably FBX 2009 or lower. I think FBX 2006 would be best, that what I export it to.

It did not work with 2011, 2010, 2009.
Finally I tried 2006 and it worked :slight_smile:
