# Problem with Unity Forums Search function?

Is there a problem with the search function on these forums (fora?)
I’m getting a “504 - Gateway Server timed out” mesage when I try to use it.

It seems to be the the “Search” function on the line above that starts “Community …”
The smaller text “Search” that appears in the “Welcome, name New Posts …” seems to be working.
So, maybe ignore my post.

I have the same problem. Probably a weekend issue. Had no problem during the week.

In case of a 504 anywhere on the web, it’s usually safe to assume the server is just suffering a heavy load 🙂 it’s a general error that’s thrown when a request is received, but isn’t handled within a designated time, destroying the request it had received (to prevent further overload or the cause of a crashloop) 🙂

Yes, but just after the upgrade it looked as if they have a sufficient performance to handle them. Now it is just back to normal, meaning it doesn’t work.

Oh dear, first i made the mistake of thinking you were referring the advanced search… but indeed, here also a 504 is thrown back at me.
