Problem with vertical alignment/size in horizontal layout group

We have a panel that is reused in different canvasas We one one larger version of our menu with two teams

Here my horizontal layoutout group works because the text is not wrapped

On our one team version the text gets wrapped like this. The checkmark button proportions are now wrong

How can I get the button to center correctly like the single line text does (text saying 12/12)

I have sort of solved it with this

But the round checkmark is slightly asymmetrical when it should have same width and height

Without any change it broke. Seems like GUI is broken?

Put a check mark inside Empty GameObject. And nothing will affect it
