Problems Creating a New Project and Connecting to a Perforce Repo

We have a number of UCB projects set up that connect to our Perforce server and are building correctly but today I tried to create a new project and the connect to source control step is failing with the following error.

I’m using the same connection details (server and user) that the other projects in our organization are using and I have verified locally that the user details (name and password) are correct.

It has been 17 days since we last created a new project in UCB so that might help pinpoint when this stopped working.

We are looking into it, and should have a fix soon-ish. Based on server logs it appears that running “p4 clients” against the repo is returning a response larger than the maximum response size we have configured (which is how we verify p4 connectivity).

In the meantime, you can PM me which project you are trying to configure and I can set it up manually for you.
