Problems in using CharacterCustomization Demo

The problem is that I can’t operate normally in Scene View:When I click an objectA, it won’t be selected, then i click another objectB but the objectA is selected.

detail:
Hi,i’m new to unity,i’m using 2.6.1 now.
I downloaded the zip file from:

It’s the CharacterCustomization Tutorial,
After unzipped the downloaded file, i got the file hierachy below:

+characterdemo
+max
+unity

i choose “open project” from unity editor, and “open other” to browser to "somepath\characterdemo\unity",
then “open”.
After loading the project, I open the “DressingroomExample” scene from Project view.
The problem is that I can’t operate normally in Scene View:When I click an objectA, it won’t be selected, then i click another objectB but the objectA is selected.

I saw some 30 more guys viewed this thread, but no one replies.
Is it a very funny problem?
I think it may be a issue of compatibility between 2.6.1 and old versions.
Doesn’t anyone encounter this problem but just me? Oh,bad luck me.

it’s a very wierd problem, maybe no one else had this.
what happens when you open other projects ? same problem ?
