Hi. I’m having a problem installing Unity (3.5.6, latest edition) on my Mac running OSX 10.5.8 (Leopard). I’m getting the following error:
According to the system requirements it should work. Can anyone help?
Unity 3.5.6 does indeed appear to fail to install on 10.5.8. This is probably an error on their part and should be reported with the bug reporter app (from a working Unity install of course). Unity 3.5.2 installs fine; not sure about 3.5.3, .4, or .5 since I don’t have those immediately to hand. Unity 3.5.6 does install on 10.6.8.
Thanks to various answers on the site I’ve found out that Unity 3.5.6 doesn’t seem to install on Leopard. If anyone on this OS has this same problem then I found out that 3.5.5 does install and works fine. Found the download link for that version thanks to this question.
