Problems with 2d gameplay tutorial (help!!!)

I’m about halfway through the tutorial and i’m trying to test it before I add the lighting (it says to mess with it) and when lerpz spawns he just bounces up and down and I cant do much with him oher than turn him around (still in same posistion though) and sometimes i can get him to jump and do thr booster thing. I’m not sure whats wrong :shock:

figured it out, I had th elevel built right on the dead line so when he spawned he died and respawnded creating a bouncing sort of look.
