Problems with a mobile game that uses Unity

Hello, first off if this is in the wrong section I’m sorry.

I play a mobile game called Marvel Contest of Champions, developed by game developer Kabam, on the Unity engine. The game is amazing, fun, and engaging with a lot of content. It’s a fighting game, where tapping and sliding are your main “maneuvers” in the game to perform actions. However, over the last year or so, there have been major issues to the game.

Input lag (pressing block to parry, only to get hit), inputs being registered wrong (dashing back to dodge but getting hit into your block), terrible frameskips (due to massive amounts of foreign code) and game crashes.

The game is almost unplayable for endgame content, however Kabam keeps releasing new content, geared towards making people spend resources (or money) to complete. They also keep releasing new champions, as well as new deals, whenever the game is in this bad of a shape. They’ve had their WORST financial quarter EVER this passed quarter, and it doesn’t seem to matter to them.

Now, the issues are solely because of them. The game is very basic, tap and slide to attack and defend. However, over the years, kabam would pile on more code on the AI, so that it could perform actions it’s not supposed to be able to. Because of all of this “foreign” code, it’s broken the game. The sole reason why the entire playerbase is dealing with these problems are because Kabam has added SOO much code onto the engine, it’s basically “broken” it. Whenever they do make coding changes (which they vehemently deny they do) they NEVER release a changelog for said coding changes. We haven’t heard ANYTHING about a fix, or anything regarding this bug in well over a month.

I’m not sure if anything could be done, but I wanted to at least see if something could be done about this.

Sorry but this forum is not for support of games made with Unity, it is only for developers, and we are not able to change anything about any games, legally or otherwise.
