Problems with external devices.

I am trying to use Phanthom robots to navigate through the environment. I am using the island demo as the environment.

I wrote a simple C++ plugin to get the position of the phanthom robot and use this position to control the movement and position in the virtual world.Though it works, its very slow and am getting a message stating frame rate is low.

Could you please tell me what I am doing wrong.

Data marshalling for DLLInterop calls can slow things down a bit, but I doubt you’re making many function calls per frame. What precisely does your function do? If it’s synchronously sending a query request over a network and then waiting for a reply, that could introduce some latency, which could be fixed by making the request asynchronously and checking for a response each frame.
