Good day to all… I continue to struggle with the unity Video Player. The problem is as follows. As it turned out, windows 7 does not support the H264 codec, so when you run the build on windows 10, the videos work fine, when you run on windows 7, the videos do not play. An attempt to install codecs in windows7 did not lead to anything (I installed the K-lite codec pack, nothing has changed). When transcoding video from h264 to vc8 in unity, the video quality is lost, and it starts to lag. Who has already encountered, tell me, is there any way out of this situation?
Hi @Sanek57 and welcome tot he Unity forums. Unfortunately, the forum you’ve posted in is for Cinemachine, our procedural camera system, which really has no relationship to your question. I’d recommend you re-post in the Audio/Video area, where they might be able to offer more assistance.
