ProBuilder and editing meshes

I popped ProBuilder into Unity, and wanted to edit the default Unity Cube mesh.

Is this not something you are allowed to do, or am I just doing it wrong?

I’ve got the UV editor open from ProBuilder, but don’t know how to have it allow me to edit the Cube mesh.

If I click the Cube mesh in the inspector for one of the game objects using the Cube mesh, it lights up my Assets folder yellow… normally to tell me where this asset lives…

but the Cube mesh is not there.

I am guessing maybe the default stuff from Unity isn’t editable?

I MIGHT have figured it out.

I clicked the “Convert game object to ProBuilderable Thing” and was able to start messing around as expected.
