I’m having a rather annoying problem with PB Face Selection and moving a face.
When I go to move a face it doesn’t follow the mouse accurately. It makes it very hard to move a face even 1 unit, because doing so it may move 5 units from a single slow (very slow) mouse movement.
Here is a Gif of the problem.
Not sure if this is a bug or I’m doing something wrong. I don’t remember this problem in the past when I’ve used PB.
Hi there, this look really weird indeed and not an expected behaviour, can you tell me your Unity and Probuilder versions and the steps to reproduce this? I’ll have a look on that!
Im on a different project now, but I suppose its the August 19th one - 4.4.0.
Steps to do it -
Go to probuilder window and create a new pro-builder object.
Set it to cube and do something like 0.3 x 6 x 3
Click on face selection and try to move a face.
(I did have progrids) in project but it was off at the time.
Same, 2020.1.6f1 HDRP. I uninstalled and reinstalled Probuilder with package manager, didnt matter. ProGrids was installed but didnt matter if turned on.
The project was fine at first (hours? a day?), then broke and I couldn’t fix it.
Hey folks! If I’m looking at this correctly - ProBuilder 4.2.3 is “Verified” for Unity 2020.1, but ProBuilder 4.4.0 is not. Can you roll back to 4.2.3 and see if that solves your issue? Thanks!
After some playing around with the snapping tools and probuilder, it doesn’t work as expected.
If I do object selection in probuilder it works fine, but the moment I go to Face Selection to move a quad, the quad movement doesn’t snap to the grid.
