Profiler Numbers Don't Look Right

We recently upgraded to 2019 LTS from 2017 and I’m seeing strange numbers out of our profiler. Our game is all UGUI with a few particles here and there.

  • Game Panel / Statistics / Batches: 150
  • Profiler / UI Details / All Canvases / Cumulative Batch Count: 505
  • Profiler / UI Details / GamesListView (our heaviest object) / Self Batch Count: 424
  • Profiler / UI Details / GamesListView / (Batches Listed): 78

None of these numbers match and I don’t know why.

I feel like when profiling in the past, the Batches from the Statistics panel was close to the Batches listed in the Profiler.

Additionally, when you unfolded Objects in the Profiler list, their Self and Cumulative Batch Counts would match the number of Batches listed beneath them. Here’s a screenshot from the Profiler of our heaviest Object in the scene:

I would normally walk this list to see what can be optimized, but I’m only seeing 78 of what should be 424 Batches?

Not sure what to do here. Thanks for any help!

This is a bug that was fixed on 2021.2. If you believe it’s a regression from 2017-2019, please file a bug report and ideally mention case 1290246 for reference :slight_smile:
