Programming tutor looking for students

Hey all! I’m Adam, a self-taught game dev. Let me introduce myself – I’ve started out with C++ and low-level programming 4 years ago but quickly moved on to Unity, and later, Godot, to put my skills into practice fulfilling my passion of making games. I’ve coded a lot of systems ranging from gameplay to developer tools throughout the years - however, I’ve always wanted my work to involve collaborating with people frequently and now I made a step towards that, starting to offer tutoring lessons. I’m hoping to work together with you! You can check my resume to see my experience: Ádám Kormos – Game Programmer · Resume.io.

A session will grant you an hour long live consultation via Discord screenshare with me where we focus on Unity or Godot programming.

If you’re unfamiliar with the basics, I will help you get them down, but if you already know the gist of things and are in need of assistance for a particular feature or system, I can help you make it.

I don’t teach by just showing you the solution straightaway - I believe one can learn most efficiently by trying to piece the theoretical solution together first. This doesn’t mean I’ll waste our lesson stalling, however. I will get you to understand what to do and how, rather than simply tossing the code your way.

I’ve gained plenty of experience and abstraction skills to show you how to figure out any programming tasks, breaking them down to tiny chunks, while being aware of the big picture.

You’re free to reach out regardless of your experience level, as long as you can tell me what you want help in. Add me on Discord (name is olcgreen) and let’s discuss the details in private  Thank you!

I do an hour of tutoring for 20€/hour, but I’m willing to offer a discounted first lesson to see if I’m worth your time. Group sessions cost way less per person, depending on the amount of students. (discount still applies)
