ProGrids 3.0.3 preview 4 snap increment shortcut not updating Unity snap settings

Hello,

I’ve run into an issue with ProGrids 3.0.3 preview 4 where using the + and - shortcut keys to increment and decrement the Snap Value is not reflected in the EditorPref snap settings in Unity. You have to manually open ProGrid’s snap settings menu and change it there for it to reflect in Unity’s snap settings.

It’s not the biggest deal in the world, but we have a number of our own custom tools that uses snapping, and it would be awesome if there was one unified place to access what the snap value should be. I’m attaching a picture of what I mean. I’m using Unity version. 2019.1.9f

Hi there!
Might be some confusion here, might be just me
The “Edit > Snap Settings” panel (on the right in your image) is the Unity “Incremental Snap Settings” thing, not a part of ProGrids.

Oh, I’m aware of that. What I mean is, when you change the ProGrids snap settings it also changes the Unity Incremental Snap Settings to reflect this (which is the desired result), except when you use the hot keys (which is not the desired result).

Ohh I see! Sorry! I’ll make a ticket for that. However, we’ve actually implemented Grid Snapping into 19.3, so we’ll be deprecating ProGrids (hooray, less to support, less to learn/download!). 19.3 Alpha 12 or 13 should have that for you to try out, if that helps

Sweet thanks! We’re too far into development to test alpha versions of Unity, but we’ll definitely convert once it goes final.
