Hello everyone, I’m new here and I hope you can help me because I really want to start a project I’ve been thinking about, but I can’t even get it off the ground. After selecting the 2D template (though the problem occurs with every template), entering a name, and creating it, I get this error message. From what I’ve read, I tried entering a short name, removing the relevant template and then reinstalling it, completely reinstalling Unity, and checking for any Norton firewall block, but the error persists. Please help me, I’m begging you.
Close the Hub and uninstall it again. Navigate to the AppData/Roaming folder and delete the UnityHub folder. Make sure that you have at least 20+ GB (better double that) of free disk space on C: and then reinstall the Hub. Hopefully that fixes it.
Also if you run any 3rd party antivirus, disable it while installing and exclude the project root folder from “live” antivirus scans as well (it’ll just cause slow downs).
Thanks for the advice, but unfortunately, after doing everything you told me, the problem persists. I freed up as much space as possible on C (now I have 27 GB free), and deactivated Norton during the installation and creation of the project… I don’t know what to do anymore… ![]()
anyone who can help me?
