Ey guys, just to share some stuff i’ve created.

It was needed for a school project, finished in like 3 days. I’m not much off a programmer so it’s more Art related.

First attempt in zbrush aswell for the rocks + bird and baking normal maps.

W = Up
S = Down
A = Left
D = Right
Space = speedboost (+begin to speed up)

Known bugs:
Snaps at 180 degrees
No collisions just a fly through
Particles go nuts when flying over it

I’ve used the volumetric clouds package and adjusted it.
Watershader is from the pro unity (added a sinus wave which creates a bad artifact underneath the rocks)

Looks absolutely stunning. I wonder how much tris there are in rocks and how big are the maps?

Well kinda went loose with it :wink:
2048 x 2048 for bigger rocks
Smaller one is 1024 x 1024

The biggest rock was ~10k
Smallest around ~4k
If i’m correct

What i did basically was make a cylinder in max, get it over to zbrush went over it, and took the 3rd level of detail in zbrush and exported that. This is a very cheap and fast way, completely not efficient or tri’s friendly. But for such a fast project i did not have the time to optimize it.

Although, if I have more than one tower in the screen my framerate slows to a crawl.

Yes, great graphic (and yes, my framerate is not really optimistic :-).

But I like this atmosphere, so I wonder, how you’ll improve this project.
