Specific question: Does this error message

Project incompatible, New version of Unity required

appear if your friends are using THE FREE VERSION OF UNITY?

Lately, every time I open any project from anyone - I get that message. Is it just a coincidence, they are all using the free version?

Does anyone know more about this message? Cheers

PS I have the latest version of Unity running.

Unity 4.2 isn’t doing the automatic update yet, can you confirm you are really are (and not relying on the ‘hey a new version is available!’ stuff. I show Unity 4.2.0f4
