Hi Everyone. My name is Tyler, and today im going to be revealing my open world RPG game titled, “KnoWing”.

The game is far from done, but im just showing what I already have. Im also going to be describing the game, so sit back, cause it’s going to be long, and I know half of you wont even read the whole thing.

What is KnoWing?

KnoWing is an open-world RPG, set in the medieval times, in the land of Rumora, and on the planet Iris. You have the option to either be a girl, or a boy, and the option to play out your life in KnoWing. Making this game a True RPG. You have the option to be who you want to be. If you want to be a murderer and kill everyone, you can. If you want to be the hero, and carry on good deeds 24/7, you can. If you wanna be both, you can. Its all up to YOU.

Whats it like in Rumora?

In Rumora, you’ll find it to be a very detailed world. From harvesting the little flowers and berries, to becoming the leader of a guild, and to even starting your own bandit group, Rumora has LOTS to offer. You may be traveling down the road, and a peddler would ask you for some change, you have to choice to help out the man, tell him to piss off, or kill him then and there. You might be in the woods, and see two bears fighting. Will you jump in and kill both? Or let nature take its course? Rumora is very mysterious, but also, quite lovely.

How’s the Skill system?

The skill system is not like your traditional RPG. Lets use the fire ball skill for example. At level one, your fire ball skill is weak, but simple, allowing you to cast many at one time. At level five, your fireball is massive, and complex, making only cast one, and it now has a cool down. Basically, you trade skill for power. Now dont think if you dont wanna level up your skill, it will forever stay weak. You can put points into your over all “Immolation Skill Tree Manager” and it’ll boost the damage in it.

How can I help KnoWing?

Well YOU can help KnoWing by emailing Tylerlloyd29@gmail.com, and ill try and reply to you as quickly as possible. I dont care of your age, or your experience. When emailing, please state what you do, and why you want to help KnoWing become possible.

Just thought id give a little update. This is a Tavern im working on called “The Praying Horsemen”.

Enjoy, and more updates are arriving. Credits to Medieval Construction Kit for the amazing models.

Project looks fine but personally i get squeamish when using widely known sound track that I’m not licensed to use.

Don’t bump your thread if it hasn’t been 24 hours since your last post. If people had feedback they’d leave it.

Just a little update on how everything is comming along. Here is the start of the inventory and health bar (GUI Textures arent permanent) Some NPC’s and some buildings i created using the 2 Medieval packages.

Concept Art Time! Im going to share with you some of the concept art i created for this game in Photoshop. Enjoy!

Hey guys, Knowing’s facebook page is finnaly up! Go there for the most up-to-date updates! Redirecting...

agreed! personally I don’t think bumping on showcase or work-in-progress is really appropriate, as it can be seen as very spamy type of behavior. If people don’t leave feedback it’s for a reason either they are not interested in your project, or don’t have the time to respond to it at this moment.

So just stick to updating the thread with content… when you update the Thread with new content that serves as a Bump, and makes a little more sense then saying “HEY LOOK AT ME” bump bump bump… you’re probably more likely to not get any responses this way…

Yeah, the only reason I’m saying something is to agree with Kuroato. It seems childish to me when you just bump for no reason, so don’t do it or you will more than likelu piss people off and they wont critique your work at all.

Since I’m here and typing, I’ll say a little something about your work. So far, it looks pretty good. It seems like you’re using other people’s models so I can’t really comment on your modeling skills in particular. You also don’t have much of an environment set up just yet, only the inside of that tavern. I think you will peek more interest in people once you get an environment set up, with more of a town setting, lighting, nature, etc.

As for the gameplay side, you have none, so that doesn’t help with grabbing in interest either. You should know that when you start a thread on a game your working on, but your game is just barely starting, it’s going to be a slow process in grabbing any interest. You don’t have much to show, and that’s just because you haven’t really gotten much done yet.

Just keep it up and keep posting updates with out the “bumps”. The more you have to show, the more comments you may get. Also, you can do some fly through videos once you have some cool environments set up if you don’t have any gameplay yet.

Hey guys, this is just a little update to a “Mini Series”. For a while, im going to be working on the AI of the game, using Easy-AI and editing and adding onto ALOT of there system. Easy-AI is basically just the framework.

In this series im going to be working on a Dialouge system, having the NPC’s talk to eachother, etc. The AI of KnoWing will be extremely Dynamic, and very life-like. When playing the game, your going to be wondering, “Dang, do i live here?”

Thank you for keeping up with the updates so far. And Remember to Like KnoWings facebook page Redirecting...

Okay! New update! The Dialogue system is now in a rough copy, but you can say its done “For Now”.

i don’t know why no one is commenting but good job. Keep up the good work!

Hey guys. Just a little update. While i work on the AI i thought id give up some more screenshots of a cave and the terrain in worldmachine.(Not Permanent) I still need help for this game!!
