I didn’t sign in for a few months and now all my projects have vanished from my desktop.,I haven’t signed into Unity in months and now that I have all my projects are gone from my desktop. What may have happened?

Unity doesn’t just delete projects. If yours is not on the list when opening Unity, that just means the project folder was moved or renamed.
You can go on the top-right and hit “Open”. From there, select your project folder again and it will appear in the list for next time(s).
