Projet MyVote

Hello,

Maybe i can present you an android application (MyVote) who may interest you. The goal is to promote direct democracy.

Myvote is an application combining a series of questions on various topics. The questions and the answers are similar to those of a referendum.
Questions are simultaneously translated in several languages and the results are then combined. Any user can propose new referenda via the Contact tab.
Once translated, the referendum are submitted to the community.
The application is free, ad-free and apolitical.

Thank you for reading.

May i have your opinion about it?

Do you think this kind of application is a good idea or it’s already exist before?

Like a voting site with different language support, if I understood it correctly?

There are sites out there. Most of them only supports english, which are the most common language. So to translate it in other languages won’t bring you high advantage. But it’s just my opinion.

It’s more or less this, except everybody vote for the same poll except they see the question in their own language.

Thanks, i wasn’t know about thoses websites to be honest. and i was trully thinking it was an original idea.

somebody elese have a feedback?

as long as its not based on first past the post

Sorry, I’m not sure i get you. What do you mean?

its just a joke, recently we had the UK general election, a party got 4 million votes and because of first past the post only 1 seat, whereas another party got 1.5 million votes and 50 seats. The party with the most seats wins.

We have the same system in France. Unofficially, it’s to block nationalist anti-europe party to get seats.

But that would be against democracy
