proper scale settings for maya to unity? lots of questions

what should i set the scale to in maya so i can match it up with unity?

should i just match the cube from unity like export as fbx and match my objects around that scale?

i just want to make sure i dont have objects that are over sized and end up looking like the camera is zoomed in on them figured i should ask before i start modeling more stuff

and does the scale affect the way models look on different mobile devices? for example tablets and phones and web

Unity does for the most stuff 1 unity = 1 Meter.
You can scale your model at import to fit that scale if they do not fit normally.
Just make a 1X1X1m cube in maya and bring it into unity , then compare it with the unity default cube, then you now what up with the scaling.

Maya’s default unit is cm. But this can be changed to Meters in Maya’s preferences. So 1 unit will equal 1 meter in both applications.
