Are the characters all using legacy animations? Some characters seem to be missing important animations like death animations, such as the Alien War Veteran and Sci Fi Pirate and other humanoid characters.
And will customers get future updates if they buy from your site? Do are updates given onto to Asset Store purchasers.
The characters you’re talking about weren’t designed to use any death animation but to instantiate an already set up ragdoll to provide greater quality death and variation. All the characters from the SCI FI SHOOTER CHARACTERS PACK are like this.
All models from the SCI FI CHARACTERS MEGA PACK are mobile friendly (tris count and rig).
The HEROIC FANTASY CREATURES VOLUME 1 and 2 are not mobile friendly for the most part, some few characters have a small tris count and a rig not too heavy. I know several developers who have been using these models on mobile devices, but it was with the help of some kind of polygon cruncher tools. And even this tool wouldn’t be able to lower the amount of bones in some of the character’s rig from those 2 packs.
The character’s description should mention the amount of tris and textures sizes used please refer to that to make sure if they could match your project requirement.

Edit: customers receive updates through download links if they purchase from PROTOFACTOR STORE, or by checking themselves if there is an updated version on the Asset Store. I usually mention this on this forum if there is something new.
These characters from Sci fi pack should be compatible with mecanim. They are using the standard character studio’s biped rig from 3D studio max. They are set up to Legacy by default but you’d just have to re set up all the fbx to use the rig you want.
Regarding the heroic fantasy ones, Mobile version are not planned for the moment sorry.
