Hi there, I’m proud to annouce that PROTOFACTOR’s STORE is having a huge chistmas sale starting today and ending on December 25th!!!

I know that some of you guys would rather buy the assets on the UNITY ASSET STORE, since it’s not possible to split the price by half due to the incremental price steps, I will reduce ther prices from 30% to 50%. Sent an email to the person responsible of the unity asset store in order to get all the assets at a 50% rebate price (means asset store madness ). I don’t know if it’s possible to get all the assets going through this so I will keep you guys in touch.
Also I apologize in advance for the frequent bump I might do on this thread in order to get everybody aware that the assets are on sale.

@ZJP : 50% de réduction n’est pas assez ? Je suis désolé mais là je ne peux rien faire de plus. Les prix sont déjà cassés pour permettre aux personnes ayant un tout petit budget de pouvoir acheter. Ici ce que tu réclames correspond à un prix de $49,74 pour 4 créatures ( moins de $12,25 la créature ) c’est déjà réellement intéressant. Non ?

@ZJP: désolé hors période de promo je ne pratique pas de réduction spéciale. Peux être devrais tu penser à faire cet achat avant les fêtes.

Indeed but it only leads to the PROTOFACTOR’s assets sold on the asset store. And currently I’m trying to deal with the person responsible of the store to get these in the asset store Madness. But there is another link leading to PROTOFACTOR’s STORE where the sale is already going. ( 15 % cheaper than on the unity asset store )

a) Le webPlayer du Golem à quelques pbs
b) Est-il composé de deux materiaux : Un principal et l’autre pour les yeux et le symbole sur le torse?

le golem a un seul matériau : bump / specular / illumination + a reflective map pour celui de glace. Quel est le probleme dans le web player? Je vais jeter un coup d’oeil.
EDIT: le web player est conforme à ce qui est dans le package pas de problème notable.

Would I be able to use these in a mod for another game? Or is that against the usage license?

if the engine is using .FBX i guess it’s ok. But since most of the assets are converted in .unitypackage to make life easier for the unity users you would need to extract them in a unity proejct to be able to have access to the .fbx files. Hope it’s not a big deal on your end.

I would be interested in buying some of the characters but I need to know if the animation problem has been taken care of ?

eg. Customer complaints about " prefabs containing animations that are not configured correctly ?? ( missing animation called locomotion ) ?

Do the characters come in .OBJ format ? I would like to open them in Maya and animate them myself.

If you look at the comment from the creator in the asset store you would see that it has been corrected. This has nothing to deal with the animation but with the locomotion system that I set up ( which require a group called locomotion). At this time some hook ups were lost creating the prefab. Now the whole stuff works perfectly. The characters comes in FBX format. that you still can open in most 3D software. But it’s not allowed to create stuff from the asset without an author permission ( you 'd break the copyright ). Here I guess you were talking about the Dragon that already has a huge set of 80 animations.

Well, didn’t get any answer from the unity asset store. and some customers already bought some stuff here. So sorry for those who were expecting a sale on the unity asset store also but it’s not going to happen … Sale will only be available on PROTOFACTOR STORE.
