It’s inspired by action sequences from Harry Potter films, and the weapon switching mechanic from Doom 2016 (among other inspirations). You can download it here (updated link).
Thus far I’ve gotten a better spell switching mechanic working in my endless runner test level (with plans to build a better level system later).

Looking good. Your description of it sounds good. I really like your development approach of using very quick art for prototyping. That’s golden stuff so you rapidly iterate on controls, movement speeds, timers, interactions and so forth.
