In order to play PrototypeX1 flawlessly, a smartphone with following technical requirements is needed: Android

Traditionally these type of games have a lot of cool weapons. I played for around 20 minutes and was using only a single boring gun.
Ad 2.
Progression is based on unlocks which require collecting coins. All upgrades look rather uninteresting. I expected at least some cool new weapons. I upgraded my gun once and it looked the same.
Ad 3.
Lack of cool weapons is a big one. Movement precision is rather low on a phone. This makes avoiding bullets harder. Especially that my finger is obscuring the screen.
Ad 4.
You use the same track all the time. It gets old very fast. IMO it’s better to shuffle them all.
Ad 5.
200MB!
Ad 6.
Nothing feels fresh. For a kid who never played a scrolling SHMUP its fine. For people who like them and know them this is nothing new. Do you know classics like Tyrian 2000, Aero Fighters or Raiden?
Regarding to superweapons. You can unlock superweapons and laserbeams. On the left side on each level you have a yellow “atomic”-icon, if you click this one, you are able to use them.
I will put new tracks in the game with the next update.
I know some of the games you mentioned before. These games are 2D games without 3D models. If you put 3D models in the game the size will increase. I think a game for 200MB isn’t too big :).
Looks nice. Sorry if this sounds harsh but I feel like I’ve kind of seen it all before. Where is the originality? It looks pretty solid as a cookie-cutter shooter. A bit formulaic. Sorry if I’m overlooking something.
Thank you for your feedback. Prototype X1 is a sky-shooter game and offers different levels in different places (desert, city, ice and so on). It has a high difficulty level, but this is the challenge of this game. Improve you ship and try to beat the endbosses. Each level has special enemies and sometimes you have to use a superweapon.
It’s cool.
