Ok we’re registered, approved etc., next step, get the app running on the iPod.
So in Unity, the bundle identifier is (for example): com.CompanyName.AppName
I run the provisioning portal on the developer site. As I go through it, it asks for description identifiers twice, one to identify (using a friendly name I guess) the App ID, and again to identify a profile as it relates to the device. In both cases, I enter AppName. It won’t take the bundle identifier, so AppName will have to do.
It generates an App ID, which is exactly: P9T39UB7U5.*
I follow the steps to nearly the end, at least as far as dragging the .mobileprovision file such that it is listed in the organizer in the device’s Provisioning list.
I would appreciate further guidance from here. xcode complains with a Code Sign Error. It doesn’t like the identifier com.CompanyName.AppName (for example). What do I need to do to make xcode happy, given the information at my disposal?
BTW I did search around, but I get stuck. Anything I find does not seem consistent with the Provisioning Portal. Maybe something has changed?
