provisioning profile - xcode generated vs apple developer portal generated

    10: [xcode] The provisioning profile provided to Unity Cloud Build is an Xcode managed profile which Unity Cloud Build cannot use for signing. Please provide a provisioning profile generated from the iOS developer portal.

Does this mean Unity Cloud Build won’t accept a XCode generated provisioning profile, only apple developer portal generated? Or is there a method to make it work?

I seriously need help with this as well. sucks that this was posted back in July with no hint to a possible answer. I turned off automatic signing and supplied my own mobile provision generated then downloaded from the apple developer site still to no avail.
