Psychedelic Sprint (first-person infinite runner on Kongregate)

First thing I’ve actually published. I have perfection issues!

It’s a first-person-perspective dash through a colorful environment with a good number of challenges. It may not be graphically the best thing in the world, but my friends and I very much enjoy the gameplay and I hope you will too.

If you don’t have a Kongregate account and you want to list me as your referrer (it just gives me points that I’m already maxed out on), you can use this link: Play Psychedelic Sprint, a free online game on Kongregate

What? Screenshots? But it’s a game based on motion, they won’t – FINE here’s a bunch of 'em!

I did everything but the world shader; I am content. :>

Very nice…
My kind of runner …(FP)
I actually like the graphics!!

Ripe for Occulus Rift conversion…when I get my dev kit in July drop me a line and we can port it!

Thanks! Occulus is probably good idea.

On the Kongregate page I have some user(s) reporting that they cannot use the R and M keys to restart/return to menu. Is there a known issue about keyboard input not working at some point? I’m using Input.GetKeyDown(KeyCode.M/R), and very simple logic checks that keep the menu displayed only while the buttons are usable.

I thought this looked awesome but hard to tell if you will hit something.

Made me feel a little sick, but fps do that to me if I play them too long this just brought it on much quicker than normal.

Yeah, I know there’s always some issues with first-person games. I did my best to make it as changable as possible, but I’m unfortunately not very susceptible to game motion sickness so I can’t prescribe “optimal settings”. You can manually set the FOV and head bob in the options menu, those are usually the two most responsible for motion sickness.

The player’s something like 0.2 meters wide  I know the Turbine room is a little dumb because walking up the sides will cause you to crash unexpectedly, but for the others all I can say is don’t walk into the walls. x)
