Publishing with Unity and upgrading to Unity Pro afterwards.

I’ve decided to develop a game with Unity. I am looking at publishing it with the free version of Unity at least to start with. I do not really have the finances to shell out the continual $75/month or the cash on hand of $1500 for Unity Pro right now.

If I publish it with the free version, can I upgrade at a later date to the Pro version and update the game, so that it uses my newly acquired Pro license? My idea is to put income from it towards purchasing the subscription or saving up and purchasing Unity Pro outright.

I apologize if this is has already been asked. I couldn’t seem to find anything that answered this specific question.

Yes you can however you can not work with both pro and free simultaneously which does not sound like an issue for you.
