In Unity 2020.1.17f1 and 2020.2.0f1 stopped updating PUN+. I’ve discussed this issue with PUN support - they said that it’s most likely broken Unity Package Manager.
I have bought PUN+ two weeks ago.
At that moment there was PUN+ (and PUN FREE) version 2.24 lib 4.1.47 in Unity IDE.
After that I am not be able to update to the new version.
I import new version and do not see changings in PUN Wizard–>Photon Server Settings.
Updating PUN+ (PUN FREE) stopped on version 2.24 lib 4.1.47.
I try to re-enter into Unity IDE after importing - it doesn’t help.
When importing a new version, click on All - it doesn’t help.
Nothing changes after deleting PUN and reinstalling last version PUN+. The same version 2.24 lib 4.1.4.7. Why so?
Updated to 2.26.1 - nothing changes - the same version 2.24 lib 4.1.4.7.
I use Win 10 64 and before such problems were not at all.
Can you explain why this is the case and how to fix it?
The backport fixes are going through some final QA so hopefully this will end the issue once and for all. Specific patch numbers/dates aren’t final at present but I feel that I should at least inform you that fixes are being written and quality checked before they are released.
I don’t use beta versions of Unity. I have the last Unity version 2020.2.1f1. I have tried upgrading PUN 2+ from version 2.26.1 to 2.27.0 in the standard way via PackageManager–>Import. Nothing has changed. I will wait for the new stable version of Unity, or update it in the way indicated above.
