Python in Unity Editor

Hi,

In Filme, Animation & Cinematic Solution’s Page describes that Unity Editor has support to Python Scripts, but I can’t find any tutorial or article that teaches how I can do this.

Anyone can explain how run Python Scripts in Unity Editor? Thanks!

If true they have not promoted it, not mentioned much about python in blog posts beyond the ML agents stuff, and don’t have anything about it in any of the main documentation for the editor. Seems like something the manual should at least mention.

Well I guess @Adam_Myhill can tell more about it if it’s public. I’m curious too if there are plans to make it available beyond cinematographic projects.

The current target is to release the preview to Package Manager about when 2019.3 arrives.

It’s currently in testing with a few enterprise customers; if you are one, you can get an alpha through the usual channels. Otherwise, it’s just a couple months away.

Hey guys. Any news regarding the availability of Python in the Unity Editor? Thanks.

PS: And while I’m here, what about the Autodesk Shotgun integration?
