When selecting a sprite for a SpriteRenderer, for example, depending on what type of asset I’m working with, I always have to type the same text filter (like “WeaponIcon”, because the name of all the textures related to weapon icons in my project ends with that suffix). I do this very often, with different suffixes, and I have to type it again and again…
If the first time I searched for something and selected an asset, that text filter got cached, and displayed in the search box as a button or tag (a rectangle with the text and an X to remove it, placed beneath the search box) or something that I could just click for the filter to be applied, without making me switch between the mouse and the keyboard, it would save a lot of time for me.
