Hello All,
I have been using a 3rd Person - Standard Asset - controller in my project, however, I have found using the default controller extremely limiting. In that I can only move forward, backward and strafe to the left and right and there is no way of turning the actual camera view something which I consider pretty much necessary.
What I am after ideally is finding out how to use the left stick to move and the right stick to control the camera view. As it stands now the left stick control only allows me to move in straight lines! Anything object on a angle becomes almost impossible to navigate.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thankyou and Regards.
I have found out a little bit since making the above post trolling through forum posts that didn’t really meet my search criteria - and that was that the dual analog controller I own uses the 3rd and 4th axis for the right stick.
However, getting the camera to move turn with the right stick is still a complete mystery. So if any one has knowledge on a YouTube tutorial or a Unity tutorial on this topic or a tutorial on this it would be greatly appreciated.
Thankyou and Regards.
Ok, so, the silence is deafening :p.
I’ll, put that in the too hard or even possibly impossible basket for Unity.
Just a thought has anyone used a store asset to do this sort of thing in any of their games?
