I read in the FAQ’s in the documentation that their were issue with the Cinema4D .FBX exporter and properly getting animations using the new joint system. Cinema4D seems to now at all R11 (does this mean version 11). Does this issue still exist when importing assets with animations from Cinema4D to Unity?
Have a look around the forums.
The short answer is: Yes it still does. Standard bones and ClaudeBonet work, if you set up IK you’ll need to bake it before exporting.
C4Ds exporter also doesn’t export multiple UV Sets and doesn’t work in 64Bit mode.
Otherwise it works perfetly easy. Just put the .c4d file in your Project Folder and use it
