Question about madewith.unity.com [MWU]

Hi everyone,
we created a company profile on madewith.unity.com and we added two of our games.

Near the profile name row we see “not approved”, in the games rows we see “awaiting for approval”.

Does “not approved” mean the profile has been rejected or it means “awaiting for approval”?

Thanks

Unless you received an email saying your profile wasn’t approved I think they haven’t even had time to check your profile yet.

But supposing they did then:

it means your business profile itself was not approved and your games can’t be approved if your company profile was not approved.

Sound like you need a more professional web site and games. The Made with Unity is for Unity as much as it’s for Indy developers.

Thanks for your answer,

we didn’t receive any email about MWU yet.

Do you know what is the average time Unity’s staff takes to check the profiles?

No I don’t but you can be pretty sure it will take a while.

Yeah things dealing with Unity usually takes up to 5 business days to get answers to important things. (Like approval). At least with the Asset Store. I’m sure it works quite the same way. For Quality stuff to be accepted.

It’s most likely still waiting approval, do you have the same wording as this user: madewith.unity.com approval process - Unity Engine - Unity Discussions

That is:

Bear in mind it is a manual process to check each and every profile + games, and the queue is quite large. We’re working on getting an automated process set in place to speed things up.

Aren’t the games supposed to appear in “All Games” after they are approved? I understand the featured list is curated, but I thought “All games” contained, well, all games.

(my game and team was approved, but it’s not listed anywhere)

Yes, we have the same wording, that’s why we’ve got confused.

Thanks for your answer.

What’s the title of your game? Will look into this.

It’s “Lost Echo”,

But I’m guessing you found it, because I just checked again before posting and it appears under “All games” normally. So, thank you

Now, who do I have to kill… err, I mean bribe- uhh, I mean blackmail… so that it will make it to the featured list? :stuck_out_tongue:

(edit, PS: is there a way to reorder the screenshots?)

Hello! This seems to be a semi-common issue  Its taking a few days for games to appear in the search queries. The #madewithunity WebDev team is currently working to make that better  Its a new website and there have been a few bumps, but thank you sooooo much for saying something!!!

Hey - never heard of madewith.unity.com… when did that come about?

Eeep!! I’m so glad you asked!!! (i’m very excited) (^.^)/

It was announced at Unite in Boston. Its a multi-step plan to help devs get Discovered. Step One: Build a website and get awesome games and their devs to post stuff about the awesome games. Step Two… Coming Soon.

Press Here to Start → http://madewith.unity.com/tell-your-story

All joking aside, all the hard work and effort we as devs put into our games and it gets played/seen by folks who don’t necessarily “get it” or weren’t our target audience. One of the best things about the madewithunity campaign, and why I am so excited, is Step Two is going to help make better connections. Get the game to folks who are looking to play THAT kind of game <3 I think the key word they are using is Discovery. I don’t care what word they use, I just want to see games get played by people who will appreciate them

Very cool. Will check it out tonight and see about creating a profile.

It sounds like Unity has a real search engine in the pipelines.
