Question about platform licenses

So it’s clear that to use Unity Pro one needs a license per person using Unity, which is a fair business model.

That being said, would I need to purchase one Android or iPhone license per person using Unity Pro, even though the project would probably only be compiled from one instance anyway? In my case it would be one programmer and one artist.

Also, just to be sure, would I be required to purchase two Unity Pro licenses if my artist was not actually using Unity, but creating assets and models in other programs and sending them to me?

Pro per person using Unity. You only need to buy add-ons for the people actually using the platform, so you may typically have one dude who’s looking after iOS and a different dude looking after Android. So yes, you’d only buy two add-ons.

If your artist does not use Unity, then (s)he doesn’t need a license. In the same way that your programmers probably do not need to have a purchased copy of Max/Maya.

Thank you for the response! That will definitely reduce our initial cost.
