Question about Sprite Packer and the Builded Sprites (Editor.log)

Hi, I am a bit confused about the Sprite Packer behavior.

I am using the Sprite Packer in Unity 4.5.4f1. Today I did a Build and I noticed in the Editor.log file, that both Atlases and Sprites are being Builded.

I thought only the Atlases needed to be Builded and the Sprites will stay out of the Build, but how it works?

The image bellow is my “Editor.log” after the Build.
It is showing the Atlases generated by Sprite Packer and also the Sprites. These Sprites already are present in these Atlases, they are using Packing Tag.

I am showing only these lines, but all other Sprites of my Project are listed in the “Editor.log” together their Atlases.

Somebody from Unity Technologies could clarify about that subject?
