[Question] Anyone interested in a sidescrolling voxels infinite world engine?

Hello,

I have been working on a sidescrolling voxel engine with infinite generation and I wanted to see if there’s any interest in it.
I’ve seen nothing like it on the store, and thought it would be a nice addition.
The code will be highly commented, so it could also be used as a learning resource.

So, what do you think about this?

Well you’re not really giving much information, it’s vague… it could be absolutely fantastic or totally crap. People need to know the BENEFITS and what it can do and how it looks.

Oh you’re totally right. I will post some pictures a bit later, just wanted to see if the idea itself would catch anyone’s look.

More details and some features:

  • chunk based, random and infinite world generation
  • hills, mountains, plains, water generation
  • everything can be customized by the player: textures, water level, general look of the world(scale, magnitude)
  • optimized for great performance

I also plan to add caves and lava later. And maybe other details like flowers, trees and so on.
