Question array

I am trying to get a player to be able to press a button and have a string show up

If you have specific C# related questions search for arrays in C# for example. Here is a link to Microsoft documentation regarding arrays in C#.

public string choice = {"Yes","No","Maybe"};
List<string> numberPresses = new List<string>();

Update(){
if (Input.GetKeyDown(KeyCode.Alpha1)){
      // Logs the choice to the Unity console
      Debug.Log(choice[0]);
      // To track choices
      numberPresses.Add(choice[0]);
}

if (Input.GetKeyDown(KeyCode.Alpha2)){
      // Logs the choice to the Unity console
      Debug.Log(choice[1]);
      // To track choices
      numberPresses.Add(choice[1]);
}

if (Input.GetKeyDown(KeyCode.Alpha3)){
     // Logs the choice to the Unity console
      Debug.Log(choice[2]);
      // To track choices
      numberPresses.Add(choice[2]);
}

/* You can use numberPresses.Count; to see the total count and access the list similar to how you access an array numberPresses[0]; */
}

Debug.Log Documentation

If you want to keep track of the selections, you can use a list.
