We just released a mobile Application called WijiTap on iOS & Android. We integrated Facebook into the application for High Scores/Leaderboard, Invites and Challenge with Facebook users. Our application was approved for the publish_actions prior to release as one would hope BUT…
The Invite and wall postings go to dead links on the facebook mobile app when a user clicks on accepting the invite, or clicking on the wall post. The error is about not being approved for the App Center. I want to make SURE that I have setup things right on Facebook Developers site and it appears that I have.
The question is this…
- Does the invite only work if you are in the App Center as an approved app?
- Do you really have to wait until your application reaches some Facebook defined level before they approve it?
- Does it help at all if I make a Canvas application to get it through their process faster?
- Or am I missing something and these things should work prior to the application being available on App Center. (since the App Center settings are disabled for iOS, iOS iPad and Android)
If anyone can help that has been through this process it would be great!!!
