Hi my game has been accepted on steam but i need to give min specs does anyone know a site or programme that can be used to give min specs needed or is it something i need to test with vmware etc
Asked this question a while ago. If you have a username or a community of players then give your game (demo) to public and ask players for performance/technical feedback along with user specs.
Or build a computer with lowest specs to test your game on it. If it works good then you get min specs for your game.
Im pretty suprised that there is no app for that :]

You need to test it on actual hardware to find out. A VM won’t do the trick, because they typically do not perform the same as the hardware being emulated.
If you’ve got beta testers you could do a survey of what hardware they’re using and find the lowest spec machine that’s playing the game acceptably. It’s somewhat nebulous, though, because specs alone don’t tell the whole story.
