Please check my screenshot. Only 1 square works. The others just refuse to be marked.

Note: If there’s a dedicated thread for this tic tac toe, let me know as I don’t see any.

The plus badge that overlays the Grid Space (Script) icon in the Inspector shows that you have added the script to the Grid Space instance in the Hierarchy instead of the Grid Space Prefab in the Project Window.

Select the Grid Space instance in the Hierarchy and click on the Overrides drop-down window in the Inspector and click on Apply All.
