As the title states, will we ever get volumetric lights, fog etc in URP out of the box ? Tbh its one of the 2 things (second is DLSS support for URP) that holds me from going full on URP (HDRP is a little overkill for my stylized project). Anyone knows if Unity has plans for it or it will never ever happen for URP?

You can follow along on the URP Product Board to see what features we are considering. Both Volumetric Fog and Realtime Upscaling are “Under consideration”. On the page you can vote on features and explain why it’s important to you which would help us prioritise our backlog.

THanks for the response :), added a nice-to-have comment . Its not like its a critical must have thing, but I could use volumetrics in not realistic PBR projects
