questions about unity

k a few questions. first of all what language does unity script in? im new to programming, so what program do i need, and how can i take things from unity, I.E main character, and see the code? like how to code so that he moves with certain keys pressed and moves view with moving the mouse, so i can learn more about scripting. that way i can see how you do it, so i can take that info and use it later on.

also are there any programs that run good with unity? add some features and such? or make it faster or better graphics?

All these questions are answered on the product page. But to clear it up, you should download it now, you get the full version which will convert to a free indie version when the trial is up. Your questions are best answered by doing the tutorials and just messing around with it. You do not need an external compiler or IDE.
