Hi all. I am a developer on wooglie and This is my last resort to get a response from wooglie, I have sent 4 emails, using both the website contact form and the email address listed there and sent a couple of Facebook messages tothem. This was over the last month and a half and still no response, I feel this is unacceptable.
I have two questions I desperately need answering.
I want to ask why developers are only paid for new players, not return players? As far as I see it, wooglie would still gain reveneue with return players as that is based on views. Am I wrong?
And more important question. My game has gotten almost 28 500 plays over the last 2 months or so. This is much much more than any other game released the same time, but my game is not on the popular list. Currently there is a game with only 400 plays on both the new games and popular games sections of the front page. As you know being on the front page obviously drives plays, and being pushed to the back catalogue is really hurting my daily play count.
I am feeling very frustrated by this all, and would really appreciate a responses to my questions. Could anyone point me towards a better way to contact them or even take a shot at answering the questions.
Wooglie is a site hosted externally from Unity. You can post your question here, of course, but please remember community users are unlikely to reply to you. And the Hergaarden guys are great guys.
Don’t have an idea of how they handle this, my game made it to the front page when it reached about 1,000 plays and still (today July 2016) is with 4,650… sadly it doesn’t play any more and don’t know why since I was able to play it just a couple of weeks ago… too bad, it seems they made some change on the server… but it seems like emailing Wooglie is a waste of time.
The approval process is another issue I just can’t understand, some one uploaded a copy/paste version of the Tanks! tutorial with no modification whatsoever and it not only was approved, but also made it to the front page, and my other game which is also based on the same tutorial, but obviously with a whole lot of extra effort put on it, was rejected with no explanation at all… sadly it doesn’t play because of a sever error, I have tried any thing I have tough of, but the sever error doesn’t go away, and Woogle doesn’t reply my emails.
They just don’t answer any mails… maybe they are overwhelmed by too much mail, but in any case you’re left alone.
