How much does it cost to advertise with Unity User Acquisition? I can’t seem to find anything when searching the web. Just guides and manuals on how to use Unity User Acquisition.
Can I target users from the start of my campaign who just play specific games? Or do I need to run a blanket install campaign first before I can target users? – Nevermind, I reread the manual, it’s a part of the campaign.
Hello @XJonOneX ,
To start running your advertisement campaigns, you will need to at no less than $1000 to your organization’s budget.
This is so, that your ad campaign have spending power to run trough our algorithms and find users who are most likely to install your advertised app.
Ok great. What does $1000 get me? Like, is my ad delivered to someone for $1 or what?
The $1000 is simply the minimum budget of your organization. Used to spend on campaign bids.
The bid (the price to show your ad) is dependent on several factors, like:
- Location you are showing the ad.
- What platform the app is on. Different platforms have differently behaving markets.
- The genre of the app you are advertising.
You can check our documentation on bids and how to set them up. It will also explain useful terminology.
So what I’m getting is that I’m bidding for ad views, against other bidders/ads. The price of which can fluctuate depending on various factors. So there’s no real way to budget for this is there? Just throw cash at it and hope my ad gets viewed without eating my organization budget?
You as the advertiser can set the bids manually, or have them set automatically by the Unity Ads Network. You can also set a limit for your daily budget and overall campaign budget if you wish to only spend a certain amount on one particular campaign.
Your organization will be charged only if your ad has been shown and/or the app installed. Depending on the billing type.
