I stumbled across UNITY when looking for a game engine and was impressed with both the product and the whole ethos of the company. However, I sent a few questions to the sales email address the other day to settle my mind before purchasing (I am new to game development and needed some reassurances about the future of UNITY before committing) but have yet to hear back from them. My experience in IT has taught me that the sales department is always more responsive than the support department(!!!) and am a wee bit concerned that I have not heard back from them yet. It doesn’t bode well for support, post-purchase. Am I being a bit too demanding - should I allow more time, or is this a predominantly “community supported” product?
I have been very impressed with the product up till now and it looks like a good community so I hope everything can be resolved.
Anyway, I hope my mind can get put at rest so I can get on with purchasing and developing my first game in UNITY.
