me and my friend are trying to make a game in unity using version control and on his side he doesn’t have have the errors I have. I’m assuming its because of one of the packages he has installed that I dont and it just didnt import properly. they all are related to Photon but what I’m confused on is the fact my friend doesn’t get them. all of them are saying i might have an assembly reference missing there are over 100 errors so im not gonna put them here but if you want them i will.
Hi, the first thing to cehck is that you both are using the same cloud repository (not a local repo) and you are working on the same branch.
If you install the Unity Version Control / Plastic SCM standalone client, you may easily debug the problem. You can open the “Branch Explorer” view and confirm that you are able to see all the changesets created by your workers and the same in the opposite way.

So what do i do now?
Can you confirm that you and your coworker see the same “Branch explorer” view? You should able to see each other’s changesets in this view, and when you update the workspace, you can download the changes created by your coworker.
The “house” icon indicates if your workspace is updated to the head of the branch or not.
ill check when he wakes up. we live in different timezones. however i dont think its the fact that im behind on updates or whatever it is you said becuase the errors appeared the first time we started making it except they where only on my side. I do have an idea on how to fix it so im gonna try that though. thanks for your help anyway and ill reach back out to you if something still isnt working.
I DID IT. IM CRYING I HAD PHOTON NAMED POTUN
